I think the best colour palette of an attainable car is the VW Golf R:

Notice that there are only 3 monochrome choices: metallic grey or a pearl white/black.

It quickly becomes much more interesting:

Having 3 choices of brown and purple along with 5 choices of green is incredible since you’re unlikely to find even one shade of those colours available for most cars.

I mean I’m as much of a manual transmission snob of the next guy but that thing is probably too fast to drive well with a manual. Ever since the 458 Speciale, I’ve thought that modern supercars don’t need a manual trans. They’re faster than humans can think. I mean I commute like 400+ miles a week in my STi and for everyday driving, you really don’t need something much faster. If you want something for the track then you get track car.
